Pengaruh Luas Kebun Kakao Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Di Kabupaten Mamuju

Abstract

This research was conducted in Mamuju Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cocoa farm size on economic growth in Mamuju Regency. and to determine the close relationship between cocoa farm size and economic growth in Mamuju Regency. The results obtained in this study are that the size of the farm is not closely related to economic growth in Mamuju Regency, where the value of the correlation results obtained is 0.00. The results of simple linear regression analysis show that the size of the plantation from 2012 to 2016 has developed, especially the size of the plantation, but it does not affect economic growth as researchers observed in the field or observation that the development of cocoa farming has greatly decreased due to several factors of disease or waba so that it has an impact on economic growth, so land area has no effect on economic growth in Mamuju Regency.
