Abstract

This research uses qualitative research with research conducted in Galung Village, Tapalang District. The purpose of this research is to find out what role is played by fishermen's wives in an effort to increase family income in Galung Village, Tapalang Subdistrict, while the results obtained in this study are the role of fishermen's wives in increasing family income in Galung Village, Tapalang Subdistrict is very real. Either directly or indirectly. Fishermen's wives in this village have taken part in increasing family income. Although actually income for all family needs is the full responsibility of a husband. family is the full responsibility of a husband. Many of the fishermen's wives then do side jobs to help their husbands. The condition of the husband's work as a small fisherman is the high level of participation from the wife in increasing family income.
